WATER BASED STONECHIP

Excellent for sound deadening purposes. Provides a structured textured coating that is permanently elastic and impact resistant. Will not drip when applied. Non flammable. UV and Salt Spray resistant. Maybe thinned with water (max 2%). Can be painted after 12 hours. (Drying time can be reduced by applying heat to a max. of 80C).

Note:
Once applied as the stone chip dries it changes colour with the change of colour taking place from the edges to the middle. When the colour is uniform the product is dry and it is then safe to paint over. Before painting prime first with normal commercial primers.

Working Instructions:
The surface must be clean, dry, grease and wax free eliminating all traces of rust and old coatings. Mask any areas not to be coated. Apply a regular car body primer, sand with a medium grain and then apply the stone chip with a clean suction type underbody gun at 3-5 bar using crosswise strokes at a distance of 30-40cm. Optimum working & surface temperature 15-25C.

Cleaning:
Clean contaminated surfaces and application equipment immediately after use with water. Freshly dried coating can be removed with 2 way thinners. Completely cured coating can be removed with paint remover.

Storage:
Protect against frost. Store between 10C to 30C.
